Manufacturing Engineer Intern (Co-Op)

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern (Co-Op) will engage in various projects to gather and analyze data for efficient design and processing of forgings while gaining exposure to the manufacturing environment.

• Learn about the forging process and production tracking
• Assist with the purchasing of supplies for the forge shop
• Suggest projects to improve productivity or reduce variable costs
• Track projects to determine success or failure and potential impact
• Responsible for individual and group projects
• Other projects/duties as needed

• Minimum second-year student working towards a Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and interact with other departments, customers, and vendors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Oracle knowledge is a plus
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate school breaks and commitments
