Responsibilities
- Learn about the forging process and production tracking
- Assist with purchasing supplies for the forge shop
- Suggest projects to improve productivity or reduce variable costs
- Track projects to determine success or failure and assess potential impact
- Be responsible for individual and group projects
- Engage in other projects and duties as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum second-year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and interact closely with other departments, customers, and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Familiarity with Oracle is a plus
- Flexibility to work around academic schedules and breaks
