Responsibilities
- Learn about the forging process and production tracking
- Assist with the purchasing of supplies for the forge shop
- Suggest projects to improve productivity or reduce variable costs
- Track projects to determine success or failure and their potential impact
- Be responsible for individual and group projects
- Work on other projects/duties as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum second year student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and interact with other departments, customers, and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Familiarity with Oracle is a plus
- Flexible schedule to accommodate school breaks and weekly commitments
