Responsibilities
- Complete planning assignments using various applications for ongoing production programs.
- Assist with new development programs, including planning the production process and evaluating improvement needs.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for production issues on the shop floor.
- Work collaboratively with internal team members and suppliers.
- Assist with requirements management and compliance tracking.
- Support planning and departmental activities as required.
- Perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned by supervision.
Job Requirements
- Actively enrolled student in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering.
- Completion of 2nd year level college courses in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Prior experience as a summer intern in engineering is preferred.
- Completion of Computer Aided Design classes and drawing reading experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to adapt to priority changes.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work productively and independently; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
