Responsibilities
- Provide manufacturing support, including investigating and performing root cause analysis on non-conforming products.
- Support analysis of returned products to determine corrective action and coordinate product repair.
- Provide hands-on technical support in manufacturing processes, specifically in Polycarbonate panels forming process.
- Define tooling requirements and collaborate with tooling during design and multiple tooling stages.
- Collaborate with design and development groups on new products.
- Develop Bills of Material and Manufacturing Work Instructions (Travelers) for both current and new jobs.
- Examine processes, operations, assembly, and equipment to determine time or quality revisions and suggest improvements.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering and 3+ years related experience.
- Experience in Aerospace and Defense preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or similar Continuous Improvement training/background preferred.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
- Ability to acquire security clearances is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
