Responsibilities
- Design and engineer electrical components for solar projects ranging from 1 - 200+ MW.
- Create project drawings and documentation using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to produce holistic site designs.
- Communicate with third-party engineering partners and clients to resolve construction issues.
- Manage time efficiently across multiple projects and work independently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.
- Drive value engineering and manage eBOS material and vendor selection.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience designing utility scale solar PV systems.
- 3+ years working with AutoCAD.
- Experience with solar-specific software tools (PVSyst, SAM, PVCase, etc.).
- Proficiency with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong organizational, adaptability, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 25% of the time).
