Responsibilities
- Lead engineering design for new facilities including layouts, process flows, utilities, and equipment integration.
- Manage EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and technical vendors to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and oversee engineering standards, specifications, and best practices for production systems.
- Partner with the COO and CMO on facility deployment, ensuring engineering readiness for permitting, construction, and commissioning.
- Build and lead an internal team of engineers to support facility expansion and operations.
- Drive risk assessments, design reviews, and engineering validation for critical systems.
- Oversee procurement strategies for long lead equipment and coordinate installation and integration plans.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record leading engineering design and execution of large scale manufacturing or chemical processing facilities.
- Experience managing EPC firms, engineering consultants, and contractors through full project life cycle.
- Deep knowledge of process engineering, facility utilities, and large equipment integration.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver on time and within budget.
- Background in scaling technologies from pilot to commercial production preferred.
- Ability to build and inspire a high performing technical team.
