Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to pre-construction and construction teams.
- Evaluate and resolve technical issues in projects with external consultants.
- Review interconnection requirements and identify design gaps.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in designs, particularly NERC compliance.
- Prepare design specifications for wind, solar, and BESS projects.
- Develop design/construction packages including electrical layouts and system studies.
- Support testing and commissioning activities, including test plan development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the energy industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in utility-scale wind and solar project engineering.
- Experience with medium voltage feeders and high voltage substations.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and battery energy storage systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in engineering-related software and MS Office suite.
