Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and understand customer part drawings and specifications.
- Create production drawings detailing product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Specify and design tooling associated with manufacturing products.
- Maintain and update PDM Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Notice documentation.
- Ensure consistency in product design standards across different product lines.
- Provide technical information for review with product engineering and design review teams.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate with various teams to meet shipping dates.
Job Requirements
- 2-4+ years' experience in an Engineering Design environment required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required.
- Proficient with Tolerance Stack Up, GD&T, SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma techniques.
- Knowledge of standard mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes.
- Proficient with 2D and 3D design CAD environments.
- Experience with engineering analysis tools (Python, MatLab, FEA tools, etc.).
- Experience with Elastomer Molding, Extrusion, Injection Molding, and Stamping.
