Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts and define engineering plans for major engineering teams.
- Develop project plans and allocate resources based on technical proposals and internal capabilities.
- Manage resource deployment among teams and engineers assigned to various programs.
- Serve as a technical liaison with program management and customers for project status and requirements.
- Ensure implementation of process improvements and maintain consistent engineering practices.
- Oversee budget planning and cost management for engineering systems and staffing.
- Mentor team members and create technical training and development plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a science technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
- 10-12 years of related experience with prior management responsibility for 4+ years.
- Aerospace Manufacturing experience is highly desired.
- Proficient with project management and engineering analysis tools.
- Ability to lead research projects and make cost trade-off decisions.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and customer interactions.
- Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and internal policies.
