Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.
- Design, implement, and refine production systems for new and existing product lines.
- Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for all production processes.
- Perform time studies to ensure production capacity meets current and future demand.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proficiency with CAD software and familiarity with CAM tools.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and process optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
