Responsibilities

  • Execute design and integration support for unmanned vehicle hardware development for autonomy and active safety projects.
  • Support supervisors, suppliers, and engineering specialists in executing job assignments.
  • Perform calculations, analysis, and design related to engineering tasks.
  • Take ownership of impactful project work that contributes to the Oshkosh Team.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Oshkosh’s products, customers, values, and processes.
  • Engage in mentorship and training opportunities throughout the internship.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet project specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least sophomore standing for undergraduates at the time of application.
  • Interest or experience in computer vision, autonomy, or robotics.
  • Experience or interest in programming languages (C/C++/Python).
  • Familiarity with ROS2 is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter who enjoys hands-on work.
