Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of moderately complex subsystems.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, and conduct design reviews.
- Manage bring up and debug processes, supporting manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions.
- Work with ASICs, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other electrical components.
- Draft design documentation and manage design trade-offs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Preferred: Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in research or advanced development.
- Basic programming skills in Python or C++, and experience with digital signal processing or mobile SoCs is a plus.
