Responsibilities
- Measure method efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assess and interpret customer drawings and part design features.
- Evaluate/analyze parts using inspection tools.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Monitor and evaluate manufacturing process outputs.
- Review and approve inspection planning for production parts.
- Prepare for and participate in external audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
- 5-10 years’ experience as an Aerospace Quality or Mechanical Engineer.
- Ability to read and interpret Aerospace Blueprints (GD&T knowledge is a plus).
- Proficient in Root Cause Corrective Action concepts and tools.
- Experience with statistical tools such as Cp/Cpk, Pp/PpK, ANOVA, and GR&R is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in GD&T / blueprint interpretation.
