Responsibilities
- Integrate aircraft cockpit systems and components including FMC, PFDs, CDUs, and PNT equipment.
- Develop, analyze, and implement requirements.
- Document designs using detailed schematics and specifications.
- Support verification of avionics installations and certification documents.
- Manage technical relationships with program partners and suppliers.
- Conduct informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements and troubleshoot hardware in a lab environment.
- Assist in the development of system safety documents.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master’s with 10 years, or a Ph.D. with 8 years of experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience in COTS/MIL-COTS hardware design and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with flight deck equipment design and integration.
- Proficiency in system modeling and requirements management tools.
- Experience leading teams through product definition and implementation.
- Knowledge of Military Navigation systems and instrumentation integration.
