Responsibilities

  • Mechanical design of test, measurement, and handling equipment for military aircraft.
  • Gathering data, developing requirements, and performing stress and tolerance analysis.
  • Acting as a manufacturing liaison during the project build process.
  • Developing test plans and conducting environmental testing of Support Equipment.
  • Testing and integrating manufactured Support Equipment on aircraft.
  • Utilizing solid modeling software for design and drafting.
  • Collaborating in a fast-paced environment and traveling to various site locations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal estimation and program management processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for engineering drawings.
  • Current active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Experience leading engineering teams in developing Support Equipment.
  • Familiarity with requirements management and earned value management (EVMS).
  • Experience in developing manufacturing drawings to GD&T standards.
