Responsibilities
- Mechanical design of test, measurement, and handling equipment for military aircraft.
- Gathering data, developing requirements, and performing stress and tolerance analysis.
- Liaising with manufacturing during the project build process to ensure quality and cost objectives.
- Developing test plans and conducting environmental testing of Support Equipment.
- Testing and integrating manufactured Support Equipment on aircraft.
- Utilizing solid modeling software for design and drafting.
- Traveling to various site locations to demonstrate designed equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in a STEM discipline with relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software and generating detailed engineering drawings.
- Experience in IPT/Program Management processes.
- Current DoD Secret security clearance.
- Hands-on experience in stress analysis and requirements management.
- Proven record of leading engineering teams.
- Experience in developing manufacturing drawings to GD&T standards.
