Responsibilities
- Mechanical design of test, measurement, and handling equipment for military aircraft.
- Gathering data, developing requirements, and performing stress and tolerance analysis.
- Acting as a manufacturing liaison during the project build process.
- Developing test plans and conducting environmental testing of Support Equipment.
- Testing and integrating manufactured Support Equipment on aircraft.
- Utilizing solid modeling software for design and drafting.
- Collaborating in a fast-paced environment and traveling to various site locations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
- Demonstrated experience in proposal estimation and program management processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software for engineering drawings.
- Current active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience leading engineering teams in developing Support Equipment.
- Familiarity with requirements management and earned value management (EVMS).
- Experience in developing manufacturing drawings to GD&T standards.
