Responsibilities
- Lead operations for the Quality Engineering function, including budget and performance management.
- Apply and integrate mission assurance tools across the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with quality, risk management, and process improvement standards.
- Use metrics and feedback to assess program performance and manage risks.
- Set strategies to meet customer expectations and communicate program status.
- Promote professional development and foster an inclusive work culture.
- Engage on the shop floor to provide direct support and mentor personnel in quality practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's with 6+ years.
- 5+ years of formal management experience.
- Experience with the program/product lifecycle in quality and manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage both salaried and union employees.
- Familiarity with quality principles supporting complex assembly manufacture and test.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
