Responsibilities
- Serve as the Responsible Engineer for the landing gear system.
- Support advanced aircraft design with landing gear system design and integration.
- Develop landing gear system requirements and specifications.
- Create 3D models and perform trade studies for landing gear systems.
- Act as the primary technical interface with landing gear suppliers.
- Participate in technical exchange meetings and program reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and coordinate with multiple engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5-8 years of engineering experience depending on the role level.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain a Secret government clearance.
- Expert knowledge in landing gear design and related systems.
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating with Integrated Product Teams.
- Familiarity with industry standard software tools.
