Responsibilities
- Serve as the Responsible Engineer for the Landing Gear System.
- Support advanced aircraft design with landing gear system design and integration.
- Develop landing gear system requirements and specifications.
- Create 3D models and perform trade studies for landing gear systems.
- Act as the primary technical interface with landing gear suppliers.
- Participate in technical exchange meetings and program milestone reviews.
- Provide technical guidance to multiple engineering design teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in STEM discipline.
- 5-8 years of engineering experience depending on the position level.
- Experience with 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Expert knowledge of landing gear design and associated systems.
- Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating with Integrated Product Teams.
