Responsibilities
- Draft electrical wiring schematics.
- Design electrical systems according to project scope.
- Review documentation including schematics and electrical analysis.
- Analyze trade studies for alternative design solutions.
- Develop design change requests and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to design factors.
- Develop Electrical designs that meet Weapon System requirements and applicable codes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 3 years, or Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.
- Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Experience using CAD software, specifically NX10.
- Preferred experience in aircraft installations and electrical instrumentation design.
- Knowledge of aircraft-type cable assemblies and MIL specifications.
- Familiarity with communications hardware and protocols.
- Experience in systems integration in a lab environment.
