Responsibilities
- Support development and integration of EOIR subsystems and components.
- Develop, analyze, and implement requirements translating customer needs into specifications.
- Perform Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) capturing requirements and behaviors.
- Conduct functional and performance analyses and detailed trade studies.
- Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain supplier documentation and performance-based specifications.
- Conduct informal and formal testing of subsystems in the lab and during aircraft ground and flight tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related experience, or a Master's/Ph.D. in STEM with no experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of EO/IR phenomenology and experience with EOIR equipment for airborne platforms.
- Preferred experience in EO/IR system modeling and digital image processing algorithms.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering tools and performance analysis software.
- Experience in supplier management and technical evaluations.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively within teams.
