Responsibilities
- Design aircraft-level EWIS schematics and select appropriate components.
- Apply EMI shielding and separation requirements in designs.
- Develop wiring layouts using ECAD tools.
- Coordinate with harness fabrication shops for manufacturability and quality.
- Perform independent design work under supervision and contribute to team reviews.
- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with SAE and IPC standards in designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree with no experience for Level 2; for Level 3, 5 years of experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Professional experience in aircraft subsystems design/development.
- Familiarity with ECAD tools for wiring design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with military aircraft subsystem development is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
