Responsibilities
- Design parts and systems for Truss Driver machines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define machine improvement requirements.
- Develop and downselect concepts for implementing functions.
- Design, fabricate, test, and refine prototypes.
- Create production parts and work with procurement for unit production.
- Improve reliability and maintainability of parts based on field use.
- Use design tools like FEA, FMEA, and DFx for design guidance.
Job Requirements
- BSME required; MSME desirable.
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience.
- 1000+ hours of professional SolidWorks usage.
- Experience designing models and fabrication drawings for manufactured parts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Construction experience is desirable.
- Ability to travel and perform fieldwork on solar sites.
