Responsibilities
- Analyze engineering design specifications for manufacturability.
- Develop structured process flows from complex engineering designs.
- Conduct capacity assessments at supplier sites for production readiness.
- Collaborate with design engineers on assembly and subsystem designs.
- Work with procurement to source parts aligned with supplier capabilities.
- Act as the liaison between purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing for quality issues.
- Create and implement production part approval processes with suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of manufacturing, process, or supply chain engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with PCB, mechanical, or electronic assembly manufacturing.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and methods, such as Six Sigma.
- Proven ability to negotiate and drive results.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
