Responsibilities
- Remove obstacles to guarantee smooth production runs.
- Optimize the production line using lean methodologies.
- Provide suggestions to design engineers for manufacturability improvements.
- Maintain and update manufacturing documents such as BOMs and work instructions.
- Ensure proper tools for assembly are in place.
- Design ergonomic and efficient workstations for production.
- Support the transfer of NPI products from engineering to production.
Job Requirements
- BS in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in supporting assembly lines.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, preferably electronic or electromechanical products.
- Understanding of line balancing, WIP, and lean methodologies.
- Knowledge of the drone industry is a plus.
- Experience in startups or small manufacturing companies is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams.
