Responsibilities
- Remove obstacles to ensure smooth production flow.
- Optimize production line using Industrial Engineering and Lean Principles.
- Suggest design changes to improve manufacturability and assembly time.
- Maintain and update manufacturing documents like BOMs and work instructions.
- Ensure proper tools are in place for assembly.
- Design ergonomic workstations for medium to high volume production.
- Support the transfer of NPI products from Engineering Development to Production.
Job Requirements
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting assembly lines.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, preferably of electronic or electromechanical products.
- Knowledge of concepts like line balancing, WIP, and lean methodologies.
- Experience in new startups or new manufacturing companies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or in small teams.
- Knowledge of the drone industry is a nice to have.
