Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of a cross-disciplinary system.
- Own the complete production implementation including procurement, design testing and validation, quality control, and operator training.
- Create robust and accurate drawings and models for production using SolidWorks.
- Design for the correct manufacturing process including machining, composites, injection molding, bending, etc.
- Choose suitable surface finishes or coatings for designs.
Job Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail for safe and efficient designs that meet regulatory standards.
- Experience with quality control in a production environment.
- Highly desired: Experience with the maritime environment, familiarity with electric power systems, and passion for boating.
