Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-10 Mechanical Engineers in designing actuator systems.
- Contribute to the design, integration, and verification of hydraulic and electromechanical systems.
- Ensure technical excellence through participation in design reviews and cross-functional discussions.
- Support bid and proposal development and R&D initiatives.
- Mentor and develop the engineering team, providing feedback and career planning.
- Collaborate with management to assign resources and ensure project execution.
- Implement new design processes and promote continuous improvement within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in design engineering.
- Proven capabilities in aerospace design engineering and team leadership.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with NX software, Teamcenter, and GD&T.
- Experience in the aerospace/defense industry preferred.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
