Responsibilities
- Manage execution of work by teams and team members through monitoring progress, providing technical direction, and problem-solving solutions.
- Mentor direct reports in Systems Engineering and career development.
- Supervise team members, providing goals, feedback, and recognition.
- Support new business initiatives through trade studies and proposal responses.
- Manage the advancement of the product development process and facilitate learning across teams.
- Participate in the Engineering Leadership Team to set direction and develop processes for the Actuation Engineering department.
- Provide technical expertise to a Systems Engineering team working on flight control actuation technology.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) with 7+ years of experience OR MS Degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Team/project leadership experience.
- Proficiency with DOORS requirements management tool.
- Experience across all Systems Engineering domains, including requirements development and integration.
- Critical thinker with strong relationship-building skills.
- U.S. DoD Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in Safety-Critical Aircraft Control Systems design and development is a plus.
