Responsibilities
- Manage execution of work by teams and team members, providing technical direction and problem-solving solutions.
- Mentor direct reports in Systems Engineering and career development.
- Supervise team members, providing goals, feedback, and recognition.
- Support new business initiatives through trade studies and proposal responses.
- Manage advancements in the product development process by providing technical support.
- Participate with other Managers as a member of the Engineering Leadership Team.
- Provide technical expertise to a Systems Engineering team on flight control actuation technology.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) with 7+ years of experience, or an MS Degree with 5+ years.
- Team/project leadership experience.
- Proficiency with DOORS requirements management tool.
- Working knowledge across all Systems Engineering domains.
- Critical thinking and relationship-building skills.
- U.S. DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in Safety-Critical Aircraft Control Systems design is a plus.
