Responsibilities
- Manage execution of work by teams and team members, monitoring progress and providing technical direction.
- Mentor direct reports in Systems Engineering and career development.
- Supervise team members, providing goals, feedback, and recognition.
- Support new business initiatives through trade studies and customer presentations.
- Manage the advancement of the product development process, providing technical support and developing tools.
- Participate in Engineering Leadership Team to set direction and develop processes.
- Provide technical expertise to Systems Engineering and cross-disciplinary teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred) with 7+ years of experience or MS Degree with 5+ years.
- Team/project leadership experience.
- Proficiency with DOORS requirements management tool.
- Knowledge across all Systems Engineering domains, including requirements development and system design.
- Critical thinker with strong relationship-building skills.
- U.S. DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in Safety-Critical Aircraft Control Systems design is a plus.
