Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-10 Mechanical Engineers in actuator design and integration.
- Contribute to the design, integration, and verification of actuator systems.
- Maintain proficiency in geometric design, CAD tools, and PLM systems.
- Participate in design reviews and cross-functional discussions.
- Support bid proposals and R&D initiatives.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and career planning.
- Collaborate with management to assign resources and ensure project execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in design engineering.
- Proven capability in aerospace design engineering and team leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with NX software and Finite Element Analysis.
- Experience with electrohydraulic or electromechanical actuators and DoD clearance is preferred.
