Responsibilities
- Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance for development programs.
- Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
- Set direction for the technical engineering team and coordinate with designers, drafters, analysts, technicians, and manufacturing engineers.
- Support proposal volume development and costing.
- Act as the main technical contact for the customer.
- Travel occasionally to support customer meetings and business development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of design/development engineering experience OR a Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with Fault Management design and architecture development.
- Strengths in controls system design and experience with Requirements Management, Verification and Validation Methods.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and dSpace hardware.
- Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading technical teams or projects.
