Responsibilities
- Develop avionics units including flight computers, power systems, and communication systems.
- Perform PCB schematic capture and layout.
- Conduct detailed technical reviews of electronics designs and PCB layouts.
- Assist in developing test plans for flight qualification of avionics.
- Design electronics for the space environment considering factors like radiation and thermal conditions.
- Work on high-speed digital design and power electronics.
- Collaborate on defining spacecraft avionics architectures and budgets.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium Designer.
- Familiarity with embedded software development.
- Deep technical expertise in high-speed digital design or power electronics.
- Ability to hold and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Previous experience in DoD and USG development programs.
