Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the engineering team, aligning them with organizational goals.
- Manage the mechanical engineering team by planning, delegating, and monitoring their work.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and approve design changes and specifications.
- Plan and execute mechanical engineering activities collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the department.
- Mentor and develop employees, providing constructive feedback.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10 years of design experience.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with electro-mechanical motion control and structural analysis.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
