Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the engineering team by inspiring and aligning around organizational goals.
- Manage the mechanical engineering team, including planning, delegating, and training.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Plan and execute mechanical engineering activities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop mechanical components and products to meet operational targets.
- Mentor and develop employees, providing constructive feedback to improve skills.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10 years of design experience.
- Experience with electro-mechanical motion control and structural analysis in a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
