Responsibilities
- Support the design, manufacture, and assembly of new HVSD products and improve existing circuit breaker products.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and design drawings.
- Create purchasing specifications for circuit breaker components and participate in vendor qualification.
- Review customer specifications and provide special design options.
- Prepare and maintain Instruction Books (IBs) for circuit breakers.
- Supervise the preparation of drawings for manufacturing and customer needs.
- Lead root cause evaluations of failures and collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree with 3-5 years of design engineering experience or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of circuit breaker technology and power transmission.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in reading and creating technical drawings.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems.
