Responsibilities
- Develop and implement domain strategies to optimize economic and supply risk outcomes for technology infrastructure.
- Influence internal product direction through data-driven results and technical expertise.
- Build and maintain in-depth technical relationships with external partners, including suppliers and industry experts.
- Provide technical review and analysis of supplier proposals and RFQs, resolving queries and driving negotiations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and perform competitive analysis to inform sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define future technology directions and roadmaps.
- Drive supplier technical process improvements to enhance quality, cost, and time-to-deployment.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field or equivalent combination of education.
- 12+ years of technical experience in engineering, product management, or supply chain organizations related to data center products, infrastructure, rack design, AI, Compute Hardware, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience building and maintaining technical relationships with executive management.
- Demonstrated understanding of technology roadmaps and experience influencing product roadmaps.
- Proven experience moving from strategy to execution and delivering tangible results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with mechanical cooling technologies and associated system design trade-offs.
