Responsibilities
- Build partnerships with infrastructure partners to define hardware design requirements and specifications.
- Lead hardware architecture reviews with software and system teams to address potential design gaps.
- Perform mechanical design for robotics applications, focusing on structural integrity and manufacturability.
- Lead hardware proof-of-concept developments and conduct thorough analysis and testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware designs with software systems.
- Lead DFx efforts and contribute to the development of hardware assembly processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external partners throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in end-to-end hardware lifecycle management.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and hands-on assembly/testing.
- Proven problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
