Responsibilities
- Develop new flexible and stretchable electronics for wearable devices.
- Conduct literature reviews to guide hypotheses and experiments.
- Design and conduct experiments in lab and clean room environments.
- Communicate and document experimental plans and results.
- Collaborate with the Reality Labs Research team on active material technologies.
- Provide creative leadership in research projects.
- Maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on lab experience in relevant fields.
- Experience with soft material characterization techniques.
- Proven track record of significant results in research.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Intent to return to a degree program after the internship.
- Experience in patterning liquid metal or fabricating liquid-metal based electronics (preferred).
