Responsibilities
- Leading, collaborating, and executing on research in artificial intelligence.
- Contributing to experimental design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting results.
- Working with and creating large datasets and evaluation benchmarks.
- Collaborating with scientists and engineers in a cross-functional team.
- Building optimized software tooling and infrastructure to accelerate research outcomes.
- Influencing research communities by producing publications.
- Open sourcing high-quality code and producing reproducible research.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field (must be completed prior to joining).
- Master's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of industry experience.
- Research background in machine learning, AI, computational statistics, or applied mathematics.
- 2+ years of experience coding software and executing complex experiments.
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- Research experience in computer vision, multimodal perception, robotics, or related areas.
- Preferred: PhD in a relevant field and experience with C++, CUDA, and model optimization.
