Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for robotics structures and components.
- Support parts manufacturing by collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Assemble robot prototypes through hands-on work in the lab.
- Conduct failure analysis by designing tests, creating test plans, and analyzing data.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver technical solutions.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineering.
- Proficiency in designing electromechanical assemblies for robotics and related fields.
- Experience with CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with prototyping processes and materials.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols.
- Expertise in tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
