Responsibilities
- Lead the analog and power system architecture and charging architecture.
- Select chipsets and integrate systems for battery-powered products.
- Create power models to estimate battery usage and design power circuits.
- Perform schematic capture and power delivery network simulation.
- Characterize power consumption and battery performance during product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power consumption.
- Solve technical issues during new product development and support in-field escalations.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years in low power design and delivery in consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of power conversion characteristics and battery management systems.
- Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) technologies.
- Preferred: 8+ years in low voltage power design and experience with new technology integration.
- Preferred: Experience in performing power measurements and running simulations.
- Preferred: Leadership experience in technical teams and cross-functional groups.
