Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems for robotics, including structures and mechanisms.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners for part fabrication and assembly.
- Construct sub-assemblies and full system prototypes in the lab.
- Conduct failure analysis, build test fixtures, and perform tests to refine designs.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver technical solutions.
- Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies.
- Support the ambiguity of AR/VR problem-solving.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience in tolerance analysis and GD&T.
