Responsibilities
- Specification, design, prototyping, and testing of devices and products for AI/ML, server, storage, and network systems.
- Collaborate with Technical Program Managers and cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Validate product performance against internal requirements using design and simulation tools.
- Conduct part and assembly level tolerance analysis, motion, and performance studies.
- Create test plans and design test equipment for verifying design performance.
- Document specifications for prototyping, quoting, and production.
- Work with contract manufacturing partners during the design-for-manufacturing process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience designing and shipping volume commercial products.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
- Experience with cross-functional issue resolution and communication.
- Preferred experience in designing various types of enclosures and parts.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, server, and network systems is a plus.
- Experience in environmental qualification testing and design optimization techniques.
