Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and analysis for robotics structures, mechanisms, and systems integration.
- Collaborate with internal/external partners for part fabrication and custom sub-assembly.
- Hands-on assembly of robot prototypes in the lab.
- Conduct failure analysis through building test fixtures, designing tests, and analyzing data.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver technical solutions.
- Embrace learning in unfamiliar technologies and support AR/VR problem solving.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- BS degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in designing complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience in managing time-sensitive projects.
- Knowledge of tolerance analysis and GD&T.
