Responsibilities
- Specification, design, prototyping, and testing of devices and products for various systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and schedules.
- Validate product performance against internal customer requirements.
- Conduct tolerance analysis, motion studies, and performance evaluations.
- Create test plans and undertake testing procedures to verify design performance.
- Develop documentation and specifications for prototyping and production.
- Work with contract manufacturing partners throughout the design-for-manufacturing process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in designing and shipping volume commercial products.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo or SolidWorks).
- Experience with cross-functional issue resolution and communication.
- Preferred: Experience with AI/ML, server, storage systems, and environmental qualification testing.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience designing data center system equipment.
- Preferred: Experience in liquid cooling solution design and detailed tolerance analysis.
