Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of simpler systems under technical direction.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, and direct board layout while conducting design reviews.
- Manage the bring-up and debugging processes, and support manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
- Transform vendor reference designs into custom solutions that meet product constraints.
- Work in a distributed team environment and contribute to building the internal community through recruitment and mentorship.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and various technologies related to digital signal processing and mobile systems.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and experience in consumer electronics and mass production environments.
