Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own development of simpler systems under guidance.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout, and conduct design reviews.
- Manage bring up and debugging, supporting manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade-offs.
- Transform vendor reference designs into custom solutions.
- Contribute to building the internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and technologies such as digital signal processing.
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, experience with high-speed signaling, and programming in Python or C/C++.
