Responsibilities
- Act as the primary cross-functional interface with various departments and audio developers.
- Design custom moving coil and MEMS speakers, optimizing components for performance and cost.
- Present findings from simulations and measurements to gain buy-in from cross-functional teams.
- Conduct multi-physics simulations of transducers and optimize sub-components.
- Benchmark and verify transducer performance using industry-standard tools.
- Facilitate factory test design and specifications for manufacturing partners.
- Evaluate and design new materials and technologies for audio applications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience with micro-speakers and transducer design.
- 3+ years of experience working on consumer hardware products.
- Proficiency in failure analysis and data analysis.
- Preferred: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in relevant fields, experience with audio architecture and design.
