Responsibilities
- Follow Quality Management System and Standard Operating Procedures for project compliance.
- Engage in the development and engineering of disposable medical devices from concept to production.
- Participate in hands-on product and process development, including design and prototyping of catheters.
- Utilize SolidWorks for device design and prototype construction in a laboratory environment.
- Collaborate on designing catheter-based delivery systems for various medical disciplines.
- Support the acquisition and qualification of new equipment and develop preventive maintenance procedures.
- Communicate project status and timelines effectively with team members and customers.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with disposable design and development, and materials knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CAD programs.
- Eagerness to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in biomedical engineering.
