Responsibilities
- Familiarize with industry codes and best practices in a refinery setting.
- Work with professionals on specific portions of the refining process.
- Participate in project management tasks including scope, estimates, and schedules.
- Oversee design efforts and assist in construction processes.
- Support the Maintenance Department through design and development of equipment improvements.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis and optimize maintenance programs.
- Expand written and verbal presentation skills in a professional environment.
Job Requirements
- Must be majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance is required.
- Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
- Availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program.
- Military experience is a plus.
