Responsibilities
- Conduct fabrication shop reviews and review fabrication drawings for compliance with codes and standards.
- Identify critical spare parts and ensure proper equipment setup in stores.
- Conduct fitness for service evaluations and provide corrective actions for operations.
- Perform root cause failure analyses and document findings.
- Develop Project Request Forms for reliability improvements.
- Manage a list of reliability threats and drive improvement plans.
- Support purchasing and project functions, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
- 7 years of experience as a Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineer in a relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of API standards and reliability engineering practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a refinery environment.
- Clean and valid driver’s license; legal authorization to work in the US.
- Willingness to be on-call during off hours and support turnaround efforts.
