Responsibilities

  • Conduct fabrication shop reviews and review fabrication drawings for compliance with codes and standards.
  • Identify critical spare parts and ensure proper equipment setup in stores.
  • Conduct fitness for service evaluations and provide corrective actions for operations.
  • Perform root cause failure analyses and document findings.
  • Develop Project Request Forms for reliability improvements.
  • Manage a list of reliability threats and drive improvement plans.
  • Support purchasing and project functions, ensuring compliance with specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
  • 7 years of experience as a Fixed Equipment Mechanical Engineer in a relevant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of API standards and reliability engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in a refinery environment.
  • Clean and valid driver’s license; legal authorization to work in the US.
  • Willingness to be on-call during off hours and support turnaround efforts.
